Ingredients:
2 handful of black beans, washed
300g pork rib/ chicken, blanched
Handful of red dates, halved
Half bulb of garlic,washed
1.5L water
Method:
Bring water to a boil and add all the prepared ingredients. Simmer for 45 minutes or until the meat is tender. Season with salt if desired.
Here's a tip to softer black beans: soak it overnight in the fridge with some water No need to discard water used for soaking, just add it to the soup when cooking. Again, to nursing mamas, this nutritious soup could be your next milk booster too!
